Giant Hearts Outreach Programs for 2024
History - In 2010 the Adolphustown and Conway Pastoral Charge formed an outreach committee entitled "Giant Hearts Group". The "Giant Hearts" is considered an ongoing Ministry - reaching out to the faith and local communities, providing support where necessary.
Through the financial support of our faith communities, we organize special projects to assist various local charities and service organizations within the Greater Napanee Area.
A few of our outreach projects over the years were: Salvation Army Food Bank in Napanee, Interval House Napanee, Camp Quin Mo Lac, Butterfly Run ( Belleville Hospital Fund Raiser for Children who die just before or just after birth). We are adding the underlined words as this reflects more clearly the charity.
Mission Statement
Adolphustown - Conway Pastoral Charge is called by God to be a part of this amazing web of life and love. This calls us to praise God by reaching out and helping each other and to support our local communities needs.
Annual Easter Memorial Service
An Easter Memorial Announcement is offered to our faith community. Mums are ordered and placed on the stairs leading to the pulpit. We hope to fill the entire area around the communion table. During the service, the memorial list of names is read accompanied by music. After the service, the flowers go home to the memorial families.
Salvation Army Food Basket Outreach - All Year Long
We have a very generous faith community who are generous in sharing their gifts with the Salvation Army in Napanee. This was a contribution assembled in Summer this year.
